Genevieve Fulks delivers a captivating performance as Maria, showcasing a range of emotions and vocal prowess. She portrays innocence and sweetness, with the ability to influence Tony positively. Her portrayal also skillfully transitions into moments of anger and pain as her world crumbles due to her loved ones' violent lifestyle. Fulks' operatic soprano shines in showstopping renditions of “I feel pretty,” “I have a love,” and “Tonight,” leaving audiences in awe. - Chris’ Corner, Travel and Theatre, from the article “You say you want a musical revolution"
